Highlander Services was started in 2021 by Clint Helander. After years of working in the rope access industry on windmills, large rockfall mitigation projects, and explosive engineering jobs, Clint earned his Bachelors of Nursing degree and became an emergency department nurse. During school, Clint used his two-decade knowledge of climbing and ropework to shovel over 100 roofs in a single winter.

Today, Clint proudly splits his time as an ER nurse and the owner of Highlander Services. The business has rapidly grown to include heat tape installation, moss removal, gutter cleaning, vent maintenance, and whatever else you may need. Highlander Services works with many prominent property management services around Anchorage and Girdwood, as well as commercial businesses and countless residents around southcentral Alaska.

Clint is an avid rock climber, backcountry skier, and alpinist with more than 25 expeditions and first ascents in the Alaska Range, Patagonia, the Himalaya, and beyond. He has proudly called Alaska home since 2003.
